After a hiatus spanning over two months, esteemed jockey Luke Nolen is poised to make a triumphant return to the racing scene this Friday evening.
Nolen, renowned for his Group 1 triumphs, will reunite with Linas Reel, trained by the esteemed duo Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman, in the sixth race of the night, the highly anticipated Southside Challenge.
This eagerly awaited comeback marks Nolen's first appearance since sustaining injuries in a harrowing trackwork incident at Pakenham back in early February.
The fall resulted in significant setbacks, including injuries to his back and pelvis, along with internal bleeding and a fractured rib.
Following a period of recovery, the resilient 43-year-old underwent surgery to address the internal bleeding.
