After winning a Cranbourne maiden three starts back in December of 2022, Benedetta has gone through her grades very quickly to take out the $750,000 three-year-old restricted set weight Inglis Sprint over 1200m at Flemington.
Jason Warren and Daniel Stackhouse have combined with this very talented daughter of Hellbent to take home the $412,000 winners cheque and tick off the Flemington straight along the way.
After jumping with the rest of the field from the very outside barrier, Stackhouse had his filly on the outside in clear air, settling just worse than midfield.
As the rest of the field found their way on the course proper at the 500m mark, Benedetta was making her way into the race and picking up speed under her own steam and by the time she got to the 300m mark, Stackhouse pushed the button and she put two lengths on the field within 100m.
In an open field, Benedetta jumped as the online bookmakers favourite at $5.50, however, she won like she was an odds-on favourite, recording a dominant three-length victory over Paris Dior and Insurrection.

Jason Warren said earlier in the day that whatever his filly could do in the Inglis Sprint would be a bonus, whether she won or not, and he spoke post-race after his filly destroyed the field of three-year-olds.
“It's right up there,” Warren answered when asked where this win ranks in his training career.
“To get this girl and bring her through the grades, and she put her hand up pretty early on, so look it's pretty satisfying.
“It's been a bit of a training effort to get her here, being four weeks between runs to prep her up for this race.
“This filly's going places and she will gain some black type pretty soon.”
Daniel Stackhouse has had a big few days in recent times, winning the Future Stars Final at Pakenham on Thursday before taking out the Inglis Sprint at Flemington two days later, winning both races on very talented fillies.
“I think she's probably one of the best,” Stackhouse replied when asked where this filly ranked in the horses, he has ridden up the Flemington straight.
“The feel she just gave me then, gave me goosebumps and she's just so electrifying.
“The way she did it and how she did it, is quite scary, she's got a very bright future.”
