Visiting English jockey has been cleared of any injuries to his shoulder or neck after a fall at where he rode a Group Three double.

Marquand will, however, have to undergo a concussion test before he can ride again.

After riding two-year-olds and to their respective wins in Saturday's Widden and Canonbury Stakes, Marquand came down when suffered a fatal injury later in the day.

Both Away Game and Prague are trained by and are well in markets headed by stablemate who will take her place in the $2 million on Saturday.

Marquand is coming to the end of his stint in Sydney but said he would be happy to return for a ride in the Slipper on March 21 and Maher said he would be equally happy to pay his air fare.

The -trained Ronstar was a stable favourite who won three of his 16 starts and more than $250,000 prize money.

“RIP Ronstar. Swayback jack as he was affectionately known in our stable, gave us and his owners so much enjoyment. An absolute gentleman of a horse and he will be sorely missed” Portelli tweeted.
