Trainer continued his plunder of QTIS bonus money when tough filly scored at on Wednesday.

Ross has won 11 QTIS races for two-year-olds this season which has accrued $250,000 in bonus money.

Leading the way has been Hancora Field a filly who cost Ross's biggest owner Mick Crooks $100,000 at last year's Yearling Sales.

Hancora Field ($2.70) jumped to the lead and held on to beat ($5.50) by a neck in the QTIS 2YO Handicap (1200m).

Ross said Hancora Field would continue to QTIS prize money as a three-year-old next season.

“I didn't expect her to be my best two-year-old but that is the way it has turned out,” Ross said.

“She is up to about $180,000 (prize money) but there is a lot more to come.

“I have had a bit of luck with two-year-olds this season but next season I am expecting a really big year. I have about thirty well bred yearlings about to turn two.”

Hancora Field's win continued the recent run of success for apprentice .

He was expected to be Brisbane's leading apprentice this year but a series of setbacks stalled his career.

Murphy is now apprenticed to trainer and has had a steady stream of winners in recent weeks.
