The Autumn Sun has won two Group One races over 1600m, the J J Atkins and the but Quinton is unsure what distance Royal Celebration could reach.

“He is by Excelebration who used to around in mile races ,” he said.

“And he's out of an unraced mare so it's hard to tell what distance he can get to. I just want to see him win another race first before we think too far ahead.”

Quinton rode Kingston Town to the second of his three Cox Plate wins.

“I watch every Cox Plate and I will be glued to the TV,” he said.

“It is the pinnacle of weight-for-age racing and I'm sure we will be watching Winx win again.”
