Power-packed sprinter Nature Strip has extended his brilliance to a new level in winning the $2 million Darley Sprint Classic.
Winning for only the second time at 1200m in a 20-start career, Nature Strip gave nothing else a chance in the premier race for sprinters during Melbourne Cup week.
Nature Strip found the outside rail over the Flemington straight course and raced away to beat three-year-old filly Loving Gaby and last year’s placegetter In Her Time.
