Having entered Saturday's Group 2 at Moonee Valley undefeated, it was easy viewing for backers as she extended her winning streak to six wins.

The Ciaron Maher & -trained five-year-old mare simply gave nothing else a hope when leading all the way in the Australia Stakes, in what looks to be an entrée into a run in the .

Coming into Saturday's race five weeks between runs, since winning the at on Boxing Day, it looks like Marabi will undertake the same approach into the Oakleigh Plate on February 26.

“We were very worried about the track,” co-trainer David Eustace revealed in his post-race interview with Racing.com, revealing she had struggled on soft going back at home.

“We felt hard on the fence was the place to be,

“She's proven today at weight-for-age that she is very smart,” the winning trainer went on to say.

Eustace was hesitant to reveal any plans going forward, stating the mare had been in preparation for a while now, despite having her races spread out nicely.

It was a winning return for , who had been aboard Marabi for her first four wins in her career, before took the steer at Caulfield last time out.

“She proved today that she is a class ,” Allen said when returning to scale.

“She just keeps stepping up to the plate, I'd say the Oakleigh Plate is next if she can creep up in the points and I can ride her,” the winning said exuberantly.

Since her win in the Australia Stakes, Marabi has shorten from a $3.50 favourite in Oakleigh Plate betting markets, to now being a $2.50 favourite under a month out from the race.
