Madison County Wins Second G1

“He was a horse who hadn’t raced for a while and probably just felt the pinch at the end, but he was very brave.”

Forsman said Madison County would now be aimed at the Listed (1600m) at Ellerslie in a fortnight.

Madison County also holds a nomination for the (2400m) at Ellerslie on March 2 and may go via the weight-for-age Herbie Dyke Stakes (2000m) at on February 9.
