Dour stayer maintained his unbeaten record at 2200m and gave his 50th metropolitan winner for the season with a strong win at .

Follow Suit ($3.70) made it four wins from four starts at 2200m when he held out stablemate ($6.50) by a neck with 1-1/4 lengths to Zip A Dee Doh Dah ($7) in the Tropical Handicap.

The race was another quinella for premier Sydney trainer who has dominated Queensland staying races since setting up a stable 18 months ago.

Waller's Queensland manager Paul Shailer said the trainer had worked out the right formula to win staying races in Queensland.

“It is our stayers are a bit better than the Queenslanders. Chris knows the right horse to send here and they are always fit and well,” he said.

It was the fourth season in a row that Lloyd has ridden 50 winners or more in premiership in Queensland.

He has ridden 579 overall winners since coming back from a stroke in 2014.

“Having someone like Jeff riding trackwork and in races for you is a big start,” Shailer said.
