“We've had him checked over, done some bloods and tests on him this week and he has gone to the paddock for seven days to get his head down on the grass and recover. He had some high white cells as well, so we wanted to make sure we treat it and reset really.

“There is an abundance of races around so it's just a matter of when and get him to be a winner again really.

“But there's ample options, it's just a matter of making sure he is 110 per cent.”
