Premier Brisbane trainer is hoping the stable's juvenile fillies can step up at and continue his good start to the winter .

Gollan has won seven metropolitan races, including three stakes races, since the carnival started last month.

He has his sixth Brisbane metropolitan premiership wrapped up and is on his way to eclipsing his own record of 90 with 75 so far.

Gollan has a relatively light day on Saturday with his main chances appearing to be two-year-old fillies Perudo, , and who join stablemate in the Listed (1200m).

Perudo won the Listed Bill Carter Stakes at her last start with Niedorp third and Epaudama eighth.

“They have all done well since their last runs. Perudo and Niedorp will both be fitter and Epaudama had barrier 13 last time and barrier two this time,” Gollan said.

“Ready to Roam broke his maiden last start and never runs a bad race.”

He scratched older mares Prue's Angel and Splitter from the Listed to run in a benchmark race.

“They both drew right off the track in the Listed race. Their main aims are the Waterhouse at so they need the run,” he said.

Prue's Angel is headed to stud after the winter but no decision has been made regarding Splitter.

Looking beyond Doomben, Gollan is hopeful I'm A Rippa will make the 18-horse field for the Group One a week later. He sits at No. 20 after first acceptances.
