Trainer Darren Weir has arrived at Racing Victoria to front a show cause hearing as to why he should be allowed to continue training ahead of an inquiry into charges to be heard by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
Weir, and his assistant Jarrod McLean, remained silent as they entered the RV building on Monday ahead of the reconvened hearing which began on Friday.
Weir and McLean, also a licensed trainer, face charges of possessing electrical devices known as jiggers along with failing to answer stewards questions at the opening of an inquiry on Thursday and conduct prejudicial to racing.
