Four-year-old has pricked the ears of thoroughbred enthusiasts following an unbeaten start to her racing career, but none more so than her master trainer, .

Following an effortless victory at a fortnight ago, the American-bred mare went to Gardens on Saturday and put paid to her rivals in a Fillies & Mares Benchmark 78 Handicap under .

Now with three wins from as many starts, Waller believes she has a very “bright future” ahead of her.

“She's come a long way in a short time,” the trainer said.

“Two provincial wins going through her grades getting confidence, and then coming to a Saturday race, making most of the great Sydney we've got here on offer.

“She's got a bright future and we're looking forward to it.

“It's a great time of year for horses like this, because if they've got that exceptional ability, it can make up for ringcraft, and that's what she's gaining, against handy horses – like Sur La Mer, she's won her last two in the city – but just having that extra gear helps.”

After settling down last in the 1400m contest, Pike bided his time on the mare by Kitten's Joy before slicing his way through the field to record an easy 2.27-length win over stablemate Sur La Mer.

Sent out as a +115 favourite with Bovada, Frumos never gave her -winning anything to worry about, with Pike saying she travelled like the winner for a long way.

“All I had to do was not mess it up, I suppose,” he said.

“Find some daylight, and look, when I was travelling as good as I was, there was never gonna be a problem there.

“I knew I had a real good kick underneath me and my horse was ready to fire, but at the same time, there was a lot of jostling going on and I was happy to not be involved in that.”

With all three of Frumos' victories coming over 1400m, Pike believes there is no need to change things up with her going forward.

Frumos is listed as a +2500 hope in the (1600m), a race Waller has won four times.
