The fast-developing filly – still just two years old – used her highly-regarded natural scope prevail inside the final 75m, with Annabel Neasham's Lady Laguna a length behind in second place.

“She's a lovely, lovely style of filly. She's got plenty of scope and she's got plenty of pace, too,” Cummings' Melbourne-based foreman Sean Keogh told Racing.com.
“So I'm really delighted to be able to take out a Black Type race like this.
Portray also fought hard for the Cummings stable, finishing fourth.
“Portray came in with a couple of nice trials under her belt. She began well and the freshen-up probably just got the better of her,” Keogh said.
“So she'll improve going on, and she'll be stepping up in grade.”
And like Keogh, he is impressed with the natural ability the filly possesses, while adding she showed good maturity for her first run on the left-hand turn track.
“When you actually walk her in the yard she's a beautiful filly,” Williams said, Troach picking up her third win from eight career starts.
“She's got a good scope about her and after what she's done in Sydney it was a great move by James to find this race for her today.
“And I'm lucky enough to get the steer. But she's still got a little bit more growing up to do.
“I still had to manage her having her first run left-handed under race conditions.
“I was still dragging her around the last turn and I just thought she was really good and solid late.”
