are set to unleash two promising colts, and , at Avondale, on Wednesday.

Both youngsters have shown their mettle by winning lead-up trials, and pre-race indicators suggest they are ready for strong performances.

However, their talented stablemate Molly Bloom, who is currently the joint second favorite at +900 for the Group 1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas (1600m), won't be joining them due to the heavy track conditions.

Scott explained, “We just thought the conditions would be a little too tough on her first-up so we will be looking toward Taupo next week to run her.

“What she has showed us thus far has been very encouraging.”

Monday Melody, on the other hand, has demonstrated his readiness by winning his last trial on rain-affected ground.

Scott noted, “He's been well educated with the two trials since a spell so his fitness levels are good, and they will need to be with the conditions.

“He's been on the heavy ground which gives us confidence that he'll handle it on Wednesday, and hopefully, he runs well.”

Monday Melody, a son of Snitzel out of the mare Flora Di Mariposa, comes from a strong bloodline, and he was purchased for A$600,000 at the by Hermitage Thoroughbreds.

, another talented horse from the stable, is set to run in the Group 1 Tarzino Trophy (1400m) at on Saturday.

Scott expressed confidence in Dragon Leap's performance, saying, “It's another step up, and he will meet quite a hot field, but we are very pleased with him, and his work on morning suggested he is handling everything very well. He is a fit and sound horse.”

Joe will ride Dragon Leap on Saturday and will also partner with Monday Melody and Geriatrix at Avondale.

Geriatrix, who has had only one trial this season, is described as a tough and robust colt by Scott. He handled wet conditions well during trials and is expected to perform strongly.

Winexpress, another horse from the stable, will also be in action on Wednesday. Having won over the distance two runs back, his chances are further boosted by Ace Lawson-Carroll's 3kg claim.
