Hawkesbury trainer Tommy Wong will face an inquiry into an elevated level of cobalt found in Story Of Song Tai after the horse won a race on his home track.
Analysis by two laboratories of a urine sample taken from Story Of Song Tai after his win on September 20 showed the higher than allowed levels.
Wong will front Racing NSW stewards on Monday week.
The threshold for cobalt is 100mcg per litre of urine.
