Premier Brisbane trainer has nominated for looking for a dry track but the three-year-old is more likely to race at home.

Rain has played havoc with Ef Troop's preparation and he along with stablemates and were scratched from a wet meeting on Saturday.

It was the second time Ef Troop had been scratched after heavy rain turned tracks heavy.

Gollan has already mapped out a new campaign for Outback Barbie who will tackle the Group One Doomben 10,000 (1200m) on Saturday.

The trainer was due to meet with Zoustyle's owners to finalise the gelding's plans on Monday afternoon.

There are two options for Zoustyle with a 10,000 start and then the and Group One Stradbroke or a three-year-old handicap at Doomben on Saturday week followed by the Healy Stakes on June 23.

“At this stage I am leaning to the Healy Stakes option. Zoustyle is only three and we have always said we would manage his career with what is best for him,” Gollan said.

Ef Troop is proving a worry for the stable as he has been ready to race for a month.

“The has us spooked. We have been busy getting long-range weather forecasts and this week looks pretty good,” Gollan said.

“There are two races for him at Scone but I would rather stay home,” Gollan said.

“He could even run in the 10,000 but there are a couple of other races for him at Doomben.”

Gollan is likely to make final plans for Ef Troop on after entering him for the Listed (1100m) and a benchmark race over the same distance.

Ef Troop is nominated for the 10,000 and a 1200m-Class Six handicap on the Doomben program.
