Having finished third upon resumption in The Rosebud (1100m) at Listed level, the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained The Instructor heads betting markets at +360.
The winner of the Blue Diamond Stakes Preview back in January, the son of Russian Revolution is expected to be hard to beat second-up, with jockey Adam Hyeronimus keeping the ride.
Unbeaten colt Kandinsky Abstract holds the second line of betting, with James McDonald booked to ride.
Having not been seen since claiming a Canterbury maiden on May 3, the Zoustar colt is expected to be in for a fruitful campaign, as the Waller-trained sprinter is towards the top of futures markets for some of the best three-year-old Group 1 races this spring.
The Waterhouse & Bott barn holds a strong hand in Saturday’s Group 3, with Introducing and Butch Cassidy joining stablemate The Instructor in the final field for the San Domenico Stakes.
