Talented filly made it successive stakes victories when leading throughout to land the Listed Day Stakes (1200m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday for trainer James Cummings.

The daughter of shuttler had previously won the Listed Denise's Joy Stakes (1100m) at and has now won five of her 10 starts, with a further two placings.

Sent out a $3.60 second favourite with online bookmakers, Red Card dominated her rivals under , winning by more than two lengths from Milane and Golden Boom.

“She's been a little bit immature mentally and doing a few things wrong,” stable foreman Nacim Dilmi said.

“It's not until this prep really that she started to get going. It was an impressive win at Scone last start, she broke the track record.

“She showed today that she still wants to overdo it a little bit. She was a little bit fresh today on her toes. Hopefully, she learnt a lot from today and can go out next start, settle a bit better and go from there. She's got a tonne of ability. Hopefully, she can keep going this way.”

Dilmi suggested the Listed Gai Classic (1200m) at on June 17 could be the next target.

Red Card is one of seven stakes winners for Ribchester, a multiple Group One winning son of Iffraaj, who stands at Haunui Farm for $12,000 + GST.

From just 26 Southern Hemisphere runners to date, Ribchester has been represented by four stakes performers, with Red Card joined by , Portray and .
