Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) winner Climbing Star (Zoustar) is set for ambitious targets next season.
Trainer Phillip Stokes hopes the rising five-year-old will secure a spot in The Everest (1200m).
“I think her form stands up and I think she’s come back better again,” Stokes told Racing.com.
The mare is expected to begin her next campaign in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on September 27.
Stokes has also planned the early spring campaign for Group 2 Danehill Stakes (1100m) winner Stretan Angel, who will race in two events at Flemington.
“She’ll kick off in the Bobbie Lewis, go to the Gilgai,” Stokes said.
“We’ll get those two races over and done first and then see if we can stretch her out in distance.”
