“We haven't killed ourselves to win it, but it means a lot to us (with stable representative Charlie Duckworth by his side),” said Waller.

“They're all special honestly. I'm more privileged to be where I am.”

“Growing up, the Golden Slipper is one of those big races everyone knew around the world,” said Moore.

“It was always the premier race in New South Wales and I was very fortunate to get on.

“He won well last week (Shinzo), he's a very talented colt with a super attitude.

“I'm sure he's going to be better when he steps up in trip.

“We were lucky to get a nice draw – follow Cylinder through and it all went beautifully for us. I was just fortunate to have the horse.

“It all worked out and I'm lucky to be asked to come.”
