Sheraco Stakes draws high-quality field

Nine mares, including four Group 1 champions, will be competing in the Sheraco Stakes this Saturday at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney, Australia.

Among them is Atishu, who is returning from a break of four months after claiming victory in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes.

Espiona will be aiming for another Group 1 triumph having previously won the Coolmore Classic during the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

Noteworthy contenders also include Zougotcha, who finished sixth in the Toy Show Quality three weeks ago, and Sunshine In Paris, who is coming off a win in the Group 1 Surround Stakes.

Zapateo, a daughter of Brazen Beau, holds favouritism for this race due to her consistent performance with consecutive third-place finishes at Group 1 level in The Goodwood and the Robert Sangster Stakes.

Completing the field are Missile Stakes winner I Am Me, Queen Of The Ball, More Secrets, and Cinderella Days.
