Cool will get her third chance to snare a Group One win when she lines up in The Goodwood in alongside her emerging stablemate .

Trainer , chasing a first Goodwood win, is planning to run both and Despatch in Saturday's 1200m-feature at with the former coming off a last-start second in the Group One Stakes while Despatch is unbeaten this campaign in lesser grade.

“Cool Passion is staying at Group One level where as Despatch has got to come up a notch,” McEvoy said.

“But Despatch has won six out of 10 and his last two wins have been pretty horrible to watch with the run he's had in both of them, but he's still been able to come out of top.

“So he's the progressive horse.”

Cool Passion finished fourth in the Stakes in Sydney in March before her second to Goodwood favourite in the Sangster at Morphettville on May 4.

Seven-year-old Cool Passion took up the running in the Sangster (1200m) for fillies and mares and fended off all but the favourite who charged home to win by 1-1/4-lengths.

“She gave a great sight,” McEvoy said.

“I think the ground was probably a little bit inferior that late in the day on the inside, and she led.

“If she can have something to follow it would be better but nothing wanted to lead and rode her nicely throughout the race.

“Everything tried to run over her and only one was able to. Spright ran an incredible race.

“But I thought my mare was fantastic.”

Since winning a benchmark race at Morphettville in March, four-year-old Despatch has landed back-to-back black-type wins in the Listed Oakbank Stakes and the Group Three McKay Stakes.
