Two-year-old colt will be looking to follow in his sister's footsteps when he debuts in Saturday's opening race at .

By out of -winning mare Aloha, Hawaii Five Oh is a full brother to AU$1.9 million earner Libertini, who tragically passed away earlier in the year.

Hawaii Five Oh will be trained by , with the young trainer giving the colt two soft trials in readiness for his race-day debut.

The colt has opened as a +500 chance with Bovada ahead of the 1200m 2YO Handicap at , with the market gravitating towards Stud-owned .

Both Hawaii Five Oh and Northern Beaches hold nominations for the Group 1 J.J. Atkins (1600m) at in June, with tomorrow's race the first real test of credentials for both colts.

Similarly to Hawaii Five Oh, Libertini was beaten in her first two trials, before finishing second to on debut at Group 3 level, and subsequently stringing four wins together.

Hawaii Five Oh will jump from barrier two with Libertini's regular rider, Tommy Berry, in the saddle.
