Just Fine, a contender for the Group 1 Melbourne Cup (3200m), is poised to re-enter the competitive arena soon after showcasing promising form with notable placings in two recent trials.
In an interview with Racing.com, Gai Waterhouse, the co-trainer of the Group 1 Metropolitan (2400m) victor alongside Adrian Bott, expressed optimism about Just Fine's progress.
“He's going along very nicely,” said Waterhouse.
“He's had two trials, he's down to run in about two weeks' time.
“He's on track for the Sydney Cup and races like that.
“He's a very exciting horse.”
Just Fine is currently an +1000 chance for the Group 1 Sydney Cup (3200m) with top horse racing bookies.
