Tony Gollan cannot fault the preparation of his Magic Millions big guns Isotope and ahead of their date with destiny on Saturday.

Gollan took a team of four horses, headlined by Isotope and Jonker, to the Gold Coast barrier trials last and left the track adamant they are in mint condition.

“Isotope was really good in her heat then in the open company trial Jonker, and Tokoriki Lad did exactly what I wanted them to do,” Gollan said.

“They were important trials just to tune them up for Saturday because all four have had a space between runs.

“I'm very pleased with how they all trialled and most importantly how they've come through their hit-outs.

“They're very and nice and well.”

Isotope dominates betting for the $2 million (1400m) for which she is a $2.80 favourite with TAB fixed odds.

The filly finished third to her arch rival in the opening heat of the trial session conducted on the course proper at the Coast.

Jonker is a $5 favourite for the (1200m).

Outback Barbie and Tokoriki Lad will be joined by stablemate in the Open (1200m).

Outback Barbie is a $3.50 favourite with TAB fixed odds.

Macewen is not a graduate of the Magic Millions sale but gained entry to the QTIS race by claiming a wildcard after he scored in a qualifying race at on Boxing Day.

“It's great when you can target these wildcard races which adds another dimension to Magic Millions day,” Gollan said.

“It's really satisfying for Macewen to do that and he won't be making up the numbers in the QTIS race.”
