“The owners will decide whether she goes to stud in the new season or whether she keeps racing.”

It was a homecoming of sorts for Foxy Housewife who began her career at Rosehill under Chris Waller.

Stella Sea Sun still has plenty of racing to do for Gerry Harvey and trainer Kris Lees with the filly winning the Refinity Handicap (1200m).

The three-year-old's record now stands at five wins and four placings from nine starts.

“She is a half-sister to Felines who was a stakes winner,” Lees said.

“She is very adaptable and has a great attitude to racing but she has had a long preparation so we will think about what we do with her.”
