Five jockeys have escaped serious injuries in a multiple horse fall at Tamworth.
All five have been taken to hospital with Josh Adams-suffering a suspected leg injury, Rachel King (collarbone) Wendy Peel (shoulder), Kath Bell-Pitomac (mild concussion) and Greg Ryan relatively unscathed.
Ryan’s mount Son Of A Dun appeared to go amiss early in the 1400m race with James Richard (Adams) and Modern Family (King) directly behind and falling with apprentices Peel and Bell-Pitomac also coming off in the incident.
All were conscious when being attended to on the track.
