Filly Out To Repeat Millions Performance

was the best-performed Queenslander in the last 2YO Classic and her trainers believe she is on the road to repeating the performance in the Guineas.

She takes on another stakes race, the Plate (1200m) at on Saturday in her lead-up to next month’s $2 million Guineas (1400m).

Taking on top class is for Oh Five Glory who will be having her seventh run in stakes company on Saturday.

The filly finished fifth in the 2YO Classic and was far from disgraced in Group One and Two company in the winter.

Oh Five Glory has had three runs since a break and improved with each run.

At her most recent start she finished second to in the Listed (1200m) at two weeks ago.

, who trains with his father Peter, said the aim was obviously to have Oh Five Glory at her top on Magic Millions day, January 11.

“She has been strong at the finish and she is getting ready to get out to the 1400 metres of the Guineas, ” he said.

“Larry (Cassidy) has been impressed with her work and is sticking with her.”

The filly has been given no help with the barrier draw, getting nine in a field of 10 on Saturday.

Oh Five Glory is raced by a syndicate made up of Wests Tigers rugby league fans who named the filly after the team’s 2005 grand final win.

She races in the black and colours of the NRL club.
