Moved from champion Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien to David Hayes‘s Lindsay Park stable for the spring carnival, Cape Of Good Hope narrowly defeated Black Heart Bart in the weight-for-age race.
Cape Of Good Hope was a Listed winner in England in April and arrived in Australia after a two-start United States campaign.
