The McEvoy's have a big day in front of them at Flemington and Calvin McEvoy spoke post-race about their two-year-old fillies' dominant win.

“It's very exciting for all the connections and on a big day like today to get a winner is fantastic for the staff,” McEvoy said.

“She's a filly that's been very professional, she's a beautiful type, a muscle-bound filly, and she's always shown us that she's a cut average.

“She put the writing on the wall in , with a little bit more luck she probably wins there, and she's stamped a very nice filly today.

“Dean (Holland) is under the impression that she'll love a little bit further, I think at the moment 1200 is perfect and she showed that today.”

Dean Holland has started his Day in great style and he spoke post-race about his first winner of the day.

“Obviously, it was a little bit further but she was so relaxed last time and she was the same today,” Holland said.

“Once I got on her she went to the gates like an eight-year-old.

“She's got a really good head on her shoulders.

“The run presented probably 100 metres earlier than I would have liked but I had to take it at that point, if I didn't I probably would have been blocked in on the fence, so I just tried to take her through her gears.'

“She's got the Black Type today and she's going to have a very nice career.”
