The -John Gosden show has moved to France with Star Catcher taking out the Group One Prix Vermeille at ParisLongchamp.

The duo struck with in the at on Saturday and victory on Star Catcher gave Dettori a 16th Group One win for the year, equalling his previous best in 2001.

Star Catcher, carrying the colours of Anthony Oppenheimer, had already contributed by winning the and she produced another top-class performance.

Dettori had her to the fore from her rails draw, while stablemate , the winner, got a tardy start and was never competitive.

Dettori upped the tempo some way out and the 6-5 favourite finished strongly to from two outsiders, Musis Amica (33-1) and Ligne D'Or (50-1).

“She's a very good filly. She stays well, she doesn't mind being in front and the ground was slick today and she likes it. I couldn't fault her. She didn't put a foot wrong,” Dettori told Sky Sports Racing.

“She was in the stalls for a while, but once she got to the front she was full of enthusiasm. She travelled strong. We went a decent gallop and she kept it up.”

Her trainer Gosden said the team would look at options including the Breeders' Cup.

“It was the plan to go forward,” he said.

“Frankie got forward and controlled the race and he is a bit of genius when he does that,” Gosden said.

“We said after the Irish Oaks we would come here, that was always the plan. I'll talk to Mr Oppenheimer.

“There are the options obviously of Ascot (Fillies And Mares Stakes on Champions Day) and (Breeders' Cup), but it's hard to do both, they're quite close.”
