Sydney’s racing industry will come together at the annual Racing Fraternity Mass at Randwick Racecourse to remember those who have fallen on hard times.
Sunday’s Racing Mass is offered for the well-being of the racing industry and attended by all denominations and industry representatives to remember injured and ailing jockeys and other participants suffering hardship or illness.
It begins at 11am in the ballroom of the Queen Elizabeth stand.
Brother Dan Stafford, Father Tom Stevens and the Rev Colin Watts who work under the banner of the Australian Racing Christian Chaplaincy will attend.
The Mass has been going for 50 years and there will be a catch-up afterwards for all participants.
