Race 1 – Better Beyond 2YO Plate (1100m)

Peter Moody lines up Bringaroo which was a sensational 4.25-length winner last time out. The Sebring colt had no luck on debut at Moonee Valley when it was pocketed on the inside and it showed its true class last start at . This is harder, but the $2.80 available suggests its chances of winning are high.

Hey Doc is a debut winner at and is has come in for specking in the betting. The Tony McEvoy-trained son of Duporth opened at $3.80 and has come into $3.70 on the back of solid support throughout the week. It has drawn in barrier three which isn't always ideal down the Flemington straight, but it has win hopes against this field.

Queen Magdalene has been well backed on debut for training duo David Hayes and . The two-year-old filly is well bred by More Than Ready and it has been backed nicely into $5.50. It gets a weight advantage down at 54kg and it has drawn ideally in barrier five. Tough race to begin your career, but follow any positive market moves.

Race 2 – Owner.racing.com R90 Handicap (1400m)

Iteration is fresh up after a solid maiden campaign in Australia. The French import has had all three Australian runs at Flemington for two placings and even though the 1400 metres is likely to be short of its best, it has been backed in the market. The five-year-old mare opened at $5.50 and is currently paying $5 – that move should be respected in this.

Miss Softhands proved too good for rivals at Sandown last start and it's stepping up in grade for this. Despite that, the Colin Little-trained mare is the $2.60 favourite for this race and we're expecting that price to continue to drop. The lengthy Flemington straight should suit its running style, but the price is a touch short for our liking.

Written is a fresh up winner and it has winning experience on this track. The Michael Kent-trained mare was spelled after a poor effort at Caulfield last start, but more is expected of it here. It finished only 1.9 lengths behind the winner in the Leilani Final on this track and it warrants attention based on that.

Race 3 – Seascay 3YO R78 Handicap (1400m)

Pattern has been one of the best backed runners of the day. The Robert Hickmott-trained gelding opened at $6 and now sits at $4 after winning impressively on debut by 2.25 lengths at Echuca. The three-year-old looks a stayer on the rise being by High Chaparral and even though it has drawn awkwardly in barrier 11, it looks a strong winning chance.

Twisting Typhoon flew home to run third at Moonee Valley and its win chances appear bright here. The Mick Price-trained gelding was a debut winner at Sandown as a $26 chance and it should have won the Vigot Carat last start. It opened at $4.20, came into $3.90 and has since drifted out to $4.40. Still looks a good winning chance.

Niccoco is a capable gelding which produced a solid finish against some stiff competition last start. The Tony McEvoy-trained gelding ran Golden Spin to within three lengths after getting too far back in running, and this race looks more to its liking. It has drawn well in barrier five and it should settle closer to the pace. $6 available with most bookmakers.

Race 6 – $250,000 Inglis Dash (1100m)

Peter Moody lines up talented three-year-old Gold Symphony which is fresh up after winning back-to-back Group 3 races. The son of Reward For Effort defeated the likes of Ready For Victory last start and it looks a value chance at $4.80. Moody will have it ready to fire and it won fresh up last campaign. Should be a main trifecta hope in an even field.

Hellbent was a beaten $1.90 favourite last start which burned punters, but the track had a clear bias which didn't help the -trained colt. Its start prior came in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Classic and although it faded back to finish eighth, that form should stack up well for this. Drawing barrier nine will be ideal and punters will likely jump into the $2.60 on offer.

Rocky Boomboa should be respected after beating the highly-touted Love Days at Moonee Valley last start. The -trained gelding has won twice from four starts and it hasn't done much wrong to suggest it should be paying $15 for this. Winning this race would be another big step up in class, but it has place claims and punters should include it in multiples.

Race 7 – Chester Manifold Stakes (1400m)

Sarajevo is a enigmatic gelding which had no luck at Flemington last start. The John O'Shea-trained gelding finished eighth in the Group 3 Standish, but punters should look to its prior form for a guide. It ran second behind Durendal two back and it was close up behind some nice types in listed and group company. Craig Williams riding at 54kg is a big help. $3.50 available after opening at $3.60.

Tried And Tired has come in for support following two handy runs this campaign. The six-year-old looked a winner at Flemington last start, but fitness gave out in the concluding stages. It looks better suited against this company and its distance statistics read very well. After opening at $5.50 it has come into $5 which suggests it has a good winning chance.

Zupacharged flashed home late for second against a similar field last start and it looks ready to win, especially down in the weights at 54kg. The -trained gelding has placed in both runs on this track and it looks to have prepared beautifully for this upcoming run. Punters agree and have backed it into $4.80.

Flemington Race 7 tip: Zupacharged to win ($4.80) at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 9 – Tauto Handicap (1000m)

Belesron placed in its first start at Flemington last start and it was putting in the big bounds late in the run. The Peter Moody-trained gelding has won and placed twice at this distance and it has improved with every run this campaign. A win doesn't look far away and it will be flashing late at $4.80 for the win.

Rough Justice scored for the punters last start and there is no real reason it can't make it a winning hatrick. The /Zahra team is flying and this gelding loves running down the Flemington straight. It has won here twice with four placings and it rarely misses the money at this distance. Weight looks good and drawing barrier nine is ideal. Its price is drifting, but punters can get $2.80 currently.

Pink Perfection has won four from 17 with seven placings and it looked good winning in rating 90 grade last start. The daughter of Mossman has won on this track and three times at this distance, which bodes well for this. It is well weighted at 54kg and bookmakers are offering $5.50.
