Jockey Skye Bogenhuber will undergo further tests after suffering a head injury in a fall in a jump-out at Toowoomba.
After the fall on Tuesday, Bogenhuber was taken to the Toowoomba Hospital where she was found to have a small bleed on her brain.
A Racing Queensland spokesman said specialists from Brisbane had been contacted and would conduct further tests on her on Wednesday.
“She will have another CT scan and the specialists will further assess her,” the spokesman said.
“She had been in and out of sleep but apart from the small bleed she has no breaks and all her reactions are normal.”
Bogenhuber is one of the most popular jockeys in Queensland and has been in form since returning from a stint in NSW late last year.
