Queensland Racing Commission (QRIC) veterinarians have on Friday afternoon announced that two fillies – and – are required to pass further inspections ahead of Saturday's Queensland Oaks at , following issues discovered on Friday.

Glint Of Hope, a +1200 chance in the Oaks, is chasing back-to-back Group 1 victories, after proving too good in the on April 30 at .

The Trent Busuttin & -trained daughter of was found to have minor heel pain, which means she will have to be re-shod and reinspected by QRIC vets on Saturday morning if she is to take part in the AU$700,000 race.

Also needing to be passed fit on Saturday morning is the Kris Lees-trained Le Villi.

Currently an +1700 hope with Bovada, the former New Zealand-based three-year-old was found to be short striding in front, with the vets yet to deem her fit to run.

Two fillies have already been scratched from the 2200m race, with the -trained Mokulua coming out on Thursday evening, while Gary Portelli scratched Charity Spirit after the daughter of Cable Bay was allocated barrier 23 of 23.

The race is set to jump at 3:53pm AEST.
