Jamie Kah Returns A Winner On Juvenile

Both trainer Mat Ellerton and jockey Jamie Kah branded General Beau a natural two-year-old after his outstanding debut win in the season’s first juvenile race.

Jamie Kah continued on her when she returned from a suspension with a victory on in the first Australian two-year-old race of the season, the Spring Preview at Flemington.

It was her 22nd win for the season and her 12th in town where she leads the Melbourne jockeys’ premiership.

Co-trainer Mathew said General Beau was a natural two-year-old and they would take of that and back him up in the Maribyrnong Trial Stakes over 1000 metres on October 3.

“He’s won his two jump outs and that’s the quickest he’s gone yet,” Ellerton said.

“He’s adept at the straight so we will see how he pulls up and look at Saturday week. He’s a strong little horse.”

Kah said General Beau won as easily as he did in his last jump out and that he had a brilliant attitude.
