Shadow Hero has taken a late spilt to claim his second Group One win in the $1 million Randwick Guineas.
Jockey Josh Parr produced Shadow Hero between horses and the gelding responded to overhaul Microphone with Brandenburg filling the minor placing in the 1600m race.
Shadow Hero emerged as one of Australia’s better three-year-olds over a distance when he captured the Spring Champion Stakes.
