Winx will have a maximum of eight rivals in her final race, the Group One Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
The champion is the overwhelming favourite to win her 33rd consecutive race on Saturday and take her Group One tally to 25.
Among her competition is Happy Clapper who finished third last year and Japanese visitor Kluger who will step up to 2000m after his fourth in Saturday’s Doncaster Mile.
The Sydney Cup has attracted a full field of 20 plus one emergency.
The Cup is the only other Australian race over 3200m run at Group One level apart from the Melbourne Cup.
