Dour stayer maintained his unbeaten record at 2200m and gave his 50th metropolitan winner for the season with a strong win at .

Follow Suit ($3.70) made it four wins from four starts at 2200m when he held out stablemate ($6.50) by a neck with 1-1/4 lengths to Zip A Dee Doh Dah ($7) in the Tropical Handicap.

The race was another quinella for premier Sydney trainer who has dominated staying races since setting up a stable 18 months ago.

Waller's Queensland manager Paul Shailer said the trainer had worked out the right formula to win staying races in Queensland.

“It is no secret our stayers are a bit better than the Queenslanders. Chris knows the right horse to send here and they are always fit and well,” he said.

It was the fourth season in a row that Lloyd has ridden 50 winners or more in premiership in Queensland.

He has ridden 579 overall winners since coming back from a stroke in 2014.

“Having someone like Jeff riding trackwork and in races for you is a big start,” Shailer said.
