This weekend's Midwest Racers' Expo will feature a wide variety of rolling stock being sold through the auction ring on Saturday afternoon starting at noon. Everything from Turn-Key Late Models, Modifieds, entry level division machines, trailers and reliable haulers will be on display when the doors open at 3pm on Friday for the auction preview and Trade Show, the sale will begin at 4pm on January 6th. Saturday January 7 will see doors open at 8am with a 9am auction start, the Trade Show continues until 6pm Saturday evening. As the 2011 racing season in the upper Midwest concludes, it is never too early for race teams to begin thinking about the next season.

Part of that preparation can begin at the Midwest Motorsports Racers' Expo, to be held Friday January 6th and Saturday January 7th. This is the third consecutive year that the Expo will take place at the Alliant Energy Center, in Madison, Wisconsin. The event will be held inside the Veterans Memorial Coliseum of the Alliant Energy Complex.

Midwest racing enthusiasts will not want to miss this weekend’s Midwest Motorsports Racer’s Expo taking place Friday and Saturday at Madison’s Alliant Energy Center, Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Nearly one hundred consignors have preregistered their new and used racing items, with twenty vehicles already set to go through the auction ring on Saturday afternoon.

Part of that preparation can begin at the Midwest Motorsports Racers' Expo, to be held Friday January 7th and Saturday, January 8th for the second straight year in Madison, Wisconsin. The expo will again take place at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Madison's south end, located at the Alliant Energy Center.

The huge racers' expo will again feature a racing performance trade show, series meetings and seminars, as well as the popular racing parts auction.

"The auction is a great opportunity for teams to sell off any of their unneeded racing parts and components via the auction," commented auctioneer Brian Craig. "It's also the opportunity to bid on used parts they may need for the next season of racing," concluded Craig. The auction is open to all forms of racing – dirt or asphalt. If it has wheels and uses a motor, the auction is the place to be, buy, and sell.

Several of the touring series competing around the upper midwest have held driver meetings about the upcoming season, such as Doug Strasburg's Mid-American Stock Car Series. "We have held a meeting in conjunction with the racer's auctions for over 12 years now; it's a great chance to meet up with the competitors during the offseason, and get an idea on how the new season is shaping up," commented Strasburg.

MADISON, WI (Wednsday, January 6, 2010) - Midwest Motorsports Racer’s Auction officials have announced that Irish Saunders of Hoosier Racing Tires will be on hand to answer race team questions regarding the new Hoosier Tires being used at most of the Midwest Tracks this upcoming season. He will be at three of the meetings taking place this Saturday, January 9 that will take place at the new auction location, The Alliant Energy Center Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Madison, WI.

Saunders will be in attendance at the ASA Midwest Sportsmen Tour meeting at 10:00 a.m., The ASA Midwest Tour Super Late Model Series meeting at 2:00 p.m. and the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet at 5:00 p.m.

“Many of the Midwest track and Series are going to new Hoosier tires for the upcoming season,” Gregg McKarns, Auction Manager said. “Irish Saunders has been working closely with many tracks and series. He will be able to share his knowledge of the new tires to the competitors.”
