JEFFERSON, WI (Saturday, September 19, 2009) Ross Kenseth of Spring Valley, IL continued his string of success in the Big 8 Series by claiming the overall title for the 29th annual Wisconsin State Championships presented by Miller Brewing Co. Kenseth combined finishes of third and second in the twin 65 lap features to claim his crown.

Jefferson’s Kyle Jarlsberg led flag to flag to capture the first 65 lap Late Model main event. Jarlsberg grabbed the lead from pole sitter Scott Broughton as they crossed the stripe to complete the first lap. James Swan pulled into second with Doug Hahn riding in fourth. The leaders ran nose to tail until caution slowed the field on lap 18. As the green returned, Jarlsberg slipped away from the pack slightly as Hahn went to work on Swan for third. Hahn took the spot on lap 37 while Jarlsberg increased his advantage. Caution erased that lead on lap 38 as Kenseth made his way into the top five. Jarlsberg moved back out to a healthy lead once again as racing resumed and he charged to the checkers for the win. Broughton claimed second followed by Kenseth, Hahn and Jeremy Miller.

Spring Valley, MN— September 19, 2009— Joey Saldana came out on the short end of a late race battle just a few days ago at Clay County Fair Speedway losing the lead on the final lap to Jason Meyers and he made up for that on Saturday night in the Sprint for a Cure Summer Clash at Deer Creek Speedway in Minnesota, winning a late race duel with three-time and defending series champion Donny Schaz to pick up his series leading 18th A-Feature win of the season in the series inaugural visit to the immaculate 3/8-mile before a standing room only crowd in an event which was postponed by rain last month.

(Francis Creek, WI - September 19, 2009) - Enduro veteran Dave Beyer led nearly every lap, dominating the fifth and final round of the Tisler Salvage Enduro Series Saturday night at the 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.

Starting up front, Beyer established the lead at the drop of the green of the 300 lap affair, putting nearly the entire field at least a lap down half-way through the event’s first 150 lap segment.

Only Greg Banker was able to stay on the lead lap as the field hit the mandatory midway break. Beyer had passed Banker to put him a lap down, but in the final five laps of the segment, Banker worked lapped traffic to get back around the leader.

The second segment began with Beyer out front and Banker just less than half a lap behind. The duo ran that way until the 235th lap when Banker headed to the pits. That left Beyer a full two laps ahead of the next cars in the running order as he cruised away to his first series win of the year.

With Beyer in control, emphasis shifted to the series championship which wasn’t decided until the final corner of the final lap.

JEFFERSON, WI (Saturday, September 19, 2009) - Ross Kenseth's season in the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet continues to shine as he won the 2009 Wisconsin State Championship presented by Miller Brewing Company at Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, WI. Kyle Jarlsberg and Jason Erickson each claimed feature wins in the Twin 65-lap feature events that highlighted the two days of racing at Wisconsin's Action Track.

"The car was awesome, we came from ninth both times to finish third and finish second," an excited Kenseth said in victory lane. "I have to thank these guys from Pathfinder Chassis, this thing was really really good. I could go high or low on anybody."

Jarlsberg took the lead as the green flag flew over polesitter Scott Broughton. He would put some distance between himself and Broughton and would not be challenged throughout the 65-lap event.
