MANDAN, N.D. -- The 20th Annual Big Dog Chassis Dakota Classic Modified Tour--with IMCA Stock Cars--has finalized dates, locations and payouts for its six consecutive day run July 11-17, 2009.
The Tour starts in Minot, ND on Sunday, July 12, at the 3/8 mile Nodak Speedway on the ND State Fairgrounds. On Monday/Tuesday, July 13-14, the Tour heads north of the border to Estevan, SK and the 3/8 mile Estevan Motor Speedway for a double-header. Wednesday, July 15, its back to North Dakota at Williston and the Williston Basin Speedway’s 1/3 mile track at the Upper Missouri Fairgrounds. On Thursday, July 16, the ¼ mile Southwest Speedway in Dickinson hosts the series at their track 10 miles south of town.
The Tour wraps up at the 3/8 mile Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, ND on Friday, July 17 for Championship Night. A record purse that pays $1,200 to win and $250 to start for each of the six nights has been approved. In addition, a $2,000 points fund will be awarded to the top 10 in IMCA points for the entire series.
The IMCA Stock Cars will run in Rugby--July 11, Minot--July 12, Estevan--July 13-14 and Williston--July 15. The winner will be paid $500 to win and $100 to start at each stop. A series points fund of $1,000 will also be awarded to the top ten in series points.
A huge array of national and regional corporate sponsors will also contribute contingency awards to both IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars.
