Madison, WI- Midwest Motorsports officials announced a new venue for their 2009-2010 Midwest Racer’s Auction and Trade Show. The annual event will now take place in Madison, WI Friday and Saturday January 8 and 9, 2010 at Alliant Energy Center’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
“The Coliseum offers us so many different and exciting opportunities. The racing world spoke and we listened, in addition to our popular Auction and Trade Show, we will deliver a strong seminar schedule and the Youth Racing Expo.” Stated Midwest Motorsports’ Gregg McKarns. “Our goal is to build this into one giant weekend that cures everyone’s wintertime racing and fun fix.”
For over twenty five years, the Midwest Motorsports Racer’s Auction and Trade Show has served the short track racing community and will now bring their event to the focal point of Wisconsin. “We have combined our Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan sales into one giant event in Madison that is a must attend event this winter for any racing enthusiast.” Added McKarns. With well over two thousand auction items and nearly fifty exhibitors expected between the Trade Show and the newly formed Youth Racing Expo, there will be plenty to see and do both Friday and Saturday.
New ‘racer friendly’ starting times for the Friday auction will also catch the attention of many with doors opening at 3pm and the sale starting at 4pm. The traditional Saturday start time of 9am will remain for the final day of auction and trade show activity.
